Short version: ChartSkins is a cosmetic tool. It changes how your chart looks, never what it shows. It is not trading advice. Your Pro key is for you, on one computer. Cancel any time on Whop.

These Terms are an agreement between you and the operator of ChartSkins ("ChartSkins", "we", "us"). By installing the ChartSkins browser extension (the "Extension"), activating a license, or buying ChartSkins Pro, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Extension.

1. What ChartSkins is

The Extension displays animated scenes, videos and images behind or over chart areas on TradingView web pages, inside your own browser. It is a purely cosmetic customization tool. It does not provide market data, signals, analysis, or trading functionality, and it does not place, modify or read trades.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to buy ChartSkins Pro. You must be at least 13 to use the free Extension.

3. Your license

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. ChartSkins Pro gives the same license plus access to Pro features for as long as your subscription is active.

You may not:

share, resell, publish or transfer your license key, or use one key on more than one computer at a time;
bypass, disable or tamper with the license check, watermark, or any other access control;
copy, modify, decompile, or redistribute the Extension or its skins, artwork, code or branding, except as the law expressly allows;
use the Extension to break any law or anyone else's terms, including TradingView's.

We may suspend or revoke a license that breaks these rules, without a refund.

4. Subscriptions and billing

ChartSkins Pro is sold through Whop, which processes all payments. Whop's terms also apply to your purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the price shown at checkout until you cancel.
You can cancel any time from your Whop account. Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then stops. We don't charge cancellation fees.
If a payment fails, Whop may retry it. If it can't be collected, Pro access ends.
We may change prices for future billing periods. We'll give you notice through Whop before a change applies to your subscription.
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

5. Your content

Pro lets you add your own videos, GIFs and images ("Your Content"). Your Content stays in your browser on your computer. We never receive, host or review it. You are solely responsible for it, and you confirm you have the rights to use it. Don't use content that infringes others' rights or that is illegal.

5A. The Workshop (community skins)

ChartSkins Pro members can submit videos ("Submissions") to the ChartSkins Workshop. By submitting, you confirm that:

you created the Submission or have all rights and permissions needed to share it, including for any people, music, logos or footage in it;
it follows our Workshop Guidelines.

License you give us. You keep ownership of your Submission. You grant ChartSkins a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, resize and make thumbnails of it, and to let other ChartSkins users display it as a chart background, for as long as it's published and for a reasonable time after removal (for example, copies already cached on users' devices). You can withdraw a Submission at any time from the Submit page.

Review and removal. Every Submission is reviewed before it is published. We may decline, unpublish or delete any Submission for any reason, including after it has been published. We're not obligated to publish anything.

Copyright and repeat infringers. We respond to copyright notices as described on our Copyright page. We terminate the Workshop access of users who repeatedly infringe others' rights, and may also revoke their license.

Your identity. Published Submissions show your creator handle. Don't pick a handle that impersonates someone else.

6. TradingView

ChartSkins is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TradingView, Inc. The Extension works with TradingView's website as it exists today. TradingView can change their site at any time, which may temporarily break or limit the Extension. We'll work to restore compatibility, but we can't guarantee it. Your use of TradingView is governed by your agreement with TradingView.

7. Not financial advice

Nothing in ChartSkins, including any skin, image, colour or effect, is financial, investment or trading advice. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions. See our Disclaimers.

8. Readability is your responsibility

Backgrounds can reduce chart contrast. ChartSkins includes controls (Dim, Blur, Strength, on/off shortcut) to keep charts readable. You are responsible for adjusting them, or turning the Extension off, before relying on what your chart shows. We are not responsible for any trading decision or loss connected to how your chart looked.

9. Changes to the Extension

We may add, change or remove features and skins over time. If we permanently discontinue ChartSkins Pro, we'll stop future renewals and refund any unused prepaid time on yearly plans, pro-rated.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT IT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY BROWSER, DEVICE OR VERSION OF TRADINGVIEW.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, TRADING LOSSES, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE EXTENSION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from Your Content or from your breach of these Terms.

13. Termination

You can stop using ChartSkins at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms. Sections 5, 5A (license and copyright terms), 6–8 and 10–15 survive termination.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. Any dispute that isn't resolved will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that can't be waived.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We'll change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, give notice through the Extension or Whop. Continuing to use ChartSkins after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
