Install ChartSkins
in 60 seconds.

ChartSkins is on its way to the Chrome Web Store. Until then, install it directly: download the file, then follow the four steps below. Works in Chrome, Opera GX, Edge, Brave and Arc on desktop.

Download ChartSkins.zip · 0.3 MB · free
  1. ~/Documents/ChartSkins

    STEP 1

    Unzip it somewhere permanent

Double-click the downloaded file. Move the ChartSkins folder into Documents (Chrome runs it from there, so don’t delete it).

  2. chrome://extensions

    STEP 2

    Open Chrome’s extensions page

Paste into the address bar, or go to Menu ⋮ → Extensions → Manage extensions.

  3. Developer mode

    STEP 3

    Turn on Developer mode

Flip the Developer mode switch, usually in the top-right corner of the page.

  4. Load unpackedPack extensionUpdate

    STEP 4

Load unpacked → pick the folder

Click “Load unpacked” and select the ChartSkins folder (the one with manifest.json inside). Then pin ChartSkins from the puzzle-piece menu and open a TradingView chart.

Is this safe?

ChartSkins only runs on tradingview.com, collects no browsing data, and never touches your orders or account. Developer mode just lets Chrome run extensions that aren’t from the store yet.

Updates

When a new version is out, ChartSkins shows a banner. Download it, replace the files inside your ChartSkins folder, then press ↻ on the extensions page. Your skins and settings stay.

Don’t delete the folder

Chrome runs ChartSkins from the folder you picked. Keep it somewhere permanent, like Documents, not Downloads.
