Workshop Guidelines

Last updated: October 5, 2026

The best Workshop skins are calm, loop cleanly, and make a chart feel like home without fighting the candles. Every submission is reviewed by a person before it goes live.

What makes a great skin

It loops. 10–60 seconds that loops without a visible jump.
It sits back. Dark-to-mid tones, slow motion, no strobing. Traders need to read wicks over it.
It's clean. No watermarks, burned-in text, UI, or logos.
Technical: MP4 (H.264) or WebM, at least 1280×720 recommended, up to 60 MB and 2 minutes.

Only upload what you have the rights to

Upload footage you shot or made yourself, or footage whose license clearly allows you to redistribute it. Clips from films, TV, anime, games, music videos, streams, or other creators' work are not allowed unless you own the rights. "I found it online" and "no copyright intended" don't count. Stock footage is only OK if its license allows redistribution in apps.

Not allowed

Sexual or sexually suggestive content, nudity.
Violence, gore, weapons focus, self-harm.
Hate, harassment, or content targeting people or groups.
Real people who haven't agreed to it, or anything that identifies a private person.
Flashing or strobing that could trigger photosensitive seizures.
Ads, referral codes, links, promotions, or "signals"/trading claims.
Logos or branding of TradingView or other companies, or anything pretending to be official.
Anything illegal.

Review

We usually review within a day. If we don't approve a submission, you'll see a short reason on your Submit page and can try again. We may remove published skins later if they turn out to break these rules.

Strikes

Breaking these rules can lead to removals and, for repeat or serious violations (especially copyright), a ban from the Workshop. See the Terms and our Copyright policy.

Reporting

See something that shouldn't be there? Use “Report this skin” on its page. Copyright owners can also send a formal notice: see Copyright.
