Copyright & DMCA Policy

ChartSkins respects intellectual property rights and expects Workshop creators to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Reporting infringement

If you believe content in the ChartSkins Workshop infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent with:

• your physical or electronic signature;
• identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
• the URL of the Workshop skin you want removed (it looks like /workshop/abc123 on this site);
• your name, address, phone number and email;
• a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
• a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

For the fastest response, also use the “Report this skin” button on the skin's page and choose “It uses someone else's video”. We review reports promptly and take content down while we look into valid notices.

Designated agent

Notices go to the ChartSkins copyright agent: Message us through the ChartSkins store page on Whop (Support tab). We are registering our designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office's DMCA Designated Agent Directory; this page will list the agent's full contact details once that registration is complete.

Counter-notice

If your Submission was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you have the rights to it, you can send a counter-notice with your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your name, address, phone number and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the U.S., any judicial district where ChartSkins may be found). We may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant tells us they've filed a court action.

Repeat infringers

We remove the Workshop access of creators who repeatedly infringe copyrights, and may revoke their ChartSkins license.

Misrepresentation

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
